General Accounting – Assistant Manager What this job involves: Ensure team's adherence to turnaround time and accuracy of activities undertaken On-time and accurate reporting to business/client Work as an escalation point for the team to highlight challenges, assistance required, etc. to help meet process deadlines Ensure all activities undertaken by the team are compliant with statutory guidelines. Enforce compliance with the Firm’s financial, and operating policies Liaison with internal/external auditors for quarter/year-end audit Participate in ad hoc projects as and when required Monitor and drive the team to capture accurate MIS and report to management as required Undertake monthly performance reviews and continuously strive to upskill the team from an industry, domain, and 'soft skills' perspective Drive process improvement initiatives within the team to closure Sound like you? Com/M. Com/MBA Finance) Prior experience of 6-8 years with minimum Team Handling experience of 2 Years Ability to handle 12-15 team members Strong accounting knowledge, people management, communications, and interpersonal skills, and a keen learner Excellent working knowledge of MS Office tools, including Excel skills, e.g. Pivots, complex formulas, etc. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and have ability to develop and manage stakeholder relationships (internal and external) remotely Must be able to work under pressure and prioritize work assigned and work to adhere to tight deadlines An approachable personality and adept at managing and developing capability of team and act with integrity Knowledge of Real Estate Accounting and PMS (Property Management System) will be an added advantage Show more Show less
