Role & responsibilities

Plant Facility Operations & Maintenance

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of plant infrastructure including production floors, utilities, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and surveillance.
• Ensure uninterrupted support to manufacturing operations through timely maintenance and quick resolution of facility-related issues.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Drive continuous improvement in facility operations and employee satisfaction
• Prepare and manage facility budgets, cost optimization

Utilities & Support Systems

• Manage plant utilities such as compressed air systems, water supply, effluent treatment plants (ETP), lift and fire safety systems.
• Monitor energy and water consumption and implement conservation measures.

Space Planning and Optimization:

• Plan and manage space allocations for various departments and functions.
• Ensure facility layouts support lean manufacturing principles and operational efficiency.

Compliance:

• Ensure that all facilities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Maintain documentation for audits, licenses, and statutory approvals.

Construction Oversight:

• Manage and supervise construction activities on-site.
• Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other Stake holders to ensure project goals are met.
• Monitor progress and quality of construction Activities to ensure compliance with specifications.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Bachelors degree in civil engineering, facilities management.
• 10 Years of experience in the relevant field of facility maintenance and project implementation.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction processes, and facility management practices.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in CAD software, facility management software.
• Candidates must have good communication skills. Fluency in English and Hindi is must.
• Aware of NBC, exposure to FM guidelines will be an added advantage.
