Assistant Manager - Housekeeping and Facilities

Location: Jigani – APC Circle

Department: Facilities

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

Responsible for supporting the overall management and daily operations of

housekeeping and facilities functions across the premises. Ensures highest

standards of cleanliness, maintenance, hygiene, safety, and efficient use of

resources.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping:

 Plan, oversee and monitor daily housekeeping activities for all office /

facility areas.

 Supervise and guide housekeeping staff; allocate duties and schedules.

 Inspect and audit rooms/floors/work areas to ensure cleanliness and quality

standards.

 Coordinate with vendors for supply of housekeeping materials and

consumables.

 Ensure implementation of cleaning SOPs, hygiene standards and proper use

of equipment.

Facilities Management:

 Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of facilities such as security,

cafeteria, pantry, waste disposal, pest control, etc.

 Liaise with service providers and contractors for maintenance and repair of

building infrastructure, electrical and mechanical systems.

 Coordinate with internal departments for space planning, setup of

workstations, meeting rooms and event setup arrangements.

 Monitor operations of utilities and ensure preventive maintenance schedules

are followed.

 Maintain inventory of supplies, consumables and maintain cost control in

housekeeping and facility areas.

 Track and resolve facility- related complaints and requests in a timely

manner.

 Prepare reports (daily/monthly) on housekeeping activities, maintenance

schedules and issue logs.

 Conduct regular briefing sessions and ensure adherence to company policies

and guidelines.

 Ensure compliance with health, safety, and statutory standards.

Skills & Competencies

 Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures and facility operations.

 Excellent coordination and vendor management skills.

 Good communication and leadership ability.

 Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle emergencies.

 Proficiency in MS Office and facility management systems.

Qualifications & Experience

 Graduate / Diploma in Hotel Management / Facilities Management or

equivalent.

 4–6 years of experience in housekeeping / facility management with at least

1–2 years in a supervisory role.

 Languages: Hindi & English is Compulsory.Kannada and other South Indian

Languages will be an added Advantage.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
