Job Description

Basic Function Sound knowledge of Basic Accounts and Finance Sound knowledge of O2C Cycle –Accounts Receivables and Cash Applications Excellent understanding of UK market including Bureau, Non-Bureau, Lloyds and London Market Essential Functions The primary responsibilities of this role include – Process sales transactions quickly and accurately using electronic point-of-sale (EPOS) systems Handle cash, credit/debit cards, vouchers, and contactless payments Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges as required Maintain a tidy and organised checkout area Provide warm, professional, and courteous service to customers Monitor till discrepancies and report any irregularities Assist with restocking shelves and maintaining store presentation when needed Comply with all store policies including health & safety, data protection, and loss prevention Support opening and closing procedures, including cashing up and reporting Performance Parameters Process performance as per agreed KPIs Attendance & Schedule adherence Team objectives and accomplishment of assigned goals People mentoring and development Work Experience & Other Requirements Commerce Graduate with 5 to 8 years of experience (UK Market experience is an added advantage) 3+ years of previous experience in a cashier, sales assistant, or customer service role preferred, experience in OTC and exceptions handling will be an added advantage Good communication & business writing skills. Ability to liaison with multiple departments/stakeholders Excellent writing and verbal communication Strong numerical and communication skills Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings Proficiency with till systems and basic IT literacy High attention to detail and accuracy Professional appearance and positive attitude Create a high performing culture; planning, organizing and prioritizing all work activities to achieve department and team goals and objectives Managing client expectations on key deliverables
