Assistant Manager - ESO Network and Contract Management

Job Purpose

Play a decisive role in the design and optimization of STADAs supplier network together with the ESO Partner Management Team. Provide valuable support in managing the external supply network and contract lifecycle. The role focuses on operational execution, project coordination, business case preparation, and contract management.

• Act as an interface to STADAs Network team and facilitate cooperation between STADA Headquarters (HQ) and STADA Affiliates to achieve optimal service levels at competitive prices
• Assist in driving a reliable and competitive external supply base while gaining exposure to strategic initiatives and global collaboration in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Support STADA in identifying and screening potential future supply sources
• Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and commercial negotiations, including support in the internal approval procedures
• Closure of Supply agreement

Major Accountabilities

• Operational Support:

  Assist the ESO Network team with day-to-day tasks and operational activities related to network strategy and external supply management.

• Business Case Preparation:

  Develop and compile business cases for key projects to be presented to the internal Supply Committee.

• Contract & Agreement Support:

  Support in negotiating Supply Agreements and Contracts related to contract manufacturing, in-licensing, and tech-transfer projects.

• SharePoint Management:

  Maintain and manage the Network and Contract Management SharePoint, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates.

• Supplier Presentation & Meeting Documentation:

  Organize and store supplier presentations and minutes of meetings from both internal and external discussions on the common SharePoint.

• Presentation Support:

  Prepare and format high-quality presentations for internal stakeholder and leadership reviews.

• Data Management:

  Coordinate and manage multiple data sources and trackers based on shared folders, ensuring organized access for relevant teams.

• PMO Support:

  Act as a Project Management Office (PMO) for internal company discussions supporting coordination, action tracking, and follow-ups.

• Product Lifecycle Management:

  Assist network managers in product lifecycle activities, including internal coordination and cross-functional follow-ups across STADA.

• Market & Industry Research:

  Conduct market intelligence and pharmaceutical industry research to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.

• Cross-Functional Project Involvement:

  Participate in and support ESO Management, STADA affiliates, and other stakeholders in various projects as assigned from time to time.

Key Performance Indicators

• Number of business cases (BCs) prepared and submitted for Supply Committee review
• Number of cross-functional or internal projects supported or managed
• Timeliness and quality of data/document updates in Network and Contract SharePoint
• Number of supplier interactions supported (e.g., presentations, meeting minutes)
• Contribution to cost-saving or sourcing optimization initiatives
• Quality and timeliness of internal presentations and reports
• Level of engagement and follow-up support to Network Managers and ESO stakeholders
