Position Procurement Operations Analyst - Supplier ManagementLocation- Chennai- work from office

Job Summary:

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensure successful onboarding of new suppliers and maintain relationships with existing suppliers.
  • Utilize Certa and OracleCloud ERP system to create and maintain accurate supplier master records, performing regular updates to ensure data accuracy.
  • Monitor and manage all pending and submitted supplier onboarding requests through the onboarding process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and documentation for supplier onboarding.
  • Serve as a point-of-contact for both the business and suppliers regarding onboarding procedures and other inquiries.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure supplier compliance with company policies and protocols, ensuring all supplier actions are documented.
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and tax teams to ensure suppliers meet regulatory requirements.
  • Offboard inactive or non-performing suppliers by verifying and deactivating Oracle records.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service while being a trusted partner during every customer interaction (internally with stakeholders and externally with suppliers).

Qualifications and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in similar Procurement Operations or Supplier Onboarding roles, preferably in a global or high volume environment.
  • Experience with supplier data audits and record maintenance.
  • Understanding of the Source-to-Pay process.
  • Familiarity with supplier onboarding and workflow management platforms such as Certa, DocuSign, JIRA, Salesforce, and Tradeshift is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of compliance requirements including OFAC/sanctions and tax regulations.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast paced and evolving work environment.
  • Capacity to multitask, manage time effectively, and act with urgency.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and accountable.
  • Self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude and a sense of urgency.
  • Strong communications skills (written & verbal).
  • English fluency required; additional language skills are a plus.
