Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Assist in consumption-based material planning, ensuring the availability of materials based on consumption patterns and demand forecasts.
Issue the reorder requests based on the forecasted procurement needs and current stock levels.
Coordinate with the Procurement team & ensure the purchase orders are placed with suppliers on time and for the correct quantity.
Coordinate with the global Operations team to understand consumption trends for MRP and adjust material planning accordingly. Analyze inventory levels, demand forecasts, and create orders accordingly.
Coordinate with the Operations team for their urgent stock requirements and closely monitor the consumption trend of new products.
Coordinate with the Warehouse team for stock movements.
Liaise with Operation & BD on the action plan for non-moving stocks.
Liaise with the finance department on disposal of obsolete, damaged stocks.
Assist in sourcing & procurement whenever required.
Keeping various departments informed of the progress of their indents in case of delay in obtaining supplies.
Responsible for Manage reports of Global Inventory reports Slow-moving & Non-moving & Stock Adjustment/ Reconciliation in SAGE/SAP.
Coordinate with the Operations team for BOM (Bill of Materials) details and update in ERP, as and when required.
Handle SAP Material code creation and extension requests.
