Assistant Manager EHS (Environmental Health & Safety)

• Position Title:

  Sr. Executive/Asst. Manager

Head -HR & Admin

  HR & Admin -EHS

• Role and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for all EHS Activities for all Units.
2. Ensure proper adherance of PPEs on shop floor across all Units
3. Ensure implementation of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 standards across all plants
4. Ensure proper stocking of First Aid medicines for all units
5. Conducting safety audits for all units
6. Responsible for conducting all committee meetings on monthly basis
7. Responsible for mockdrill & EHS related trainings for all units
8. Statutory compliances file returns related to MPCB/Environment/etc on monthly/yearly basis
9. Preparation of daily/monthly accident and investigation reports
10. Fire Extinguisher list with refilling date update monthly check list
11. Ensure for Work Permits across all Units
12. Responsible for Safety Week and Environmental Day celebration
13. Attending ISO,IATF,OHSAS,EMS audit, ensuring required compliance.
14. Attending customer audit, ensuring required compliance.
15. Identification and Recommendation of Unsafe Act/Conditions
16. Meeting system requirements for all shop floor Safety activities
17. Creating awareness across all employees(Contractual +Staff) on safety related topics
18. Liasoning with Government officials for EHS compliance related requirements.
19. Self Motivated for taking initiates for improving safety practices in the organization
20. Hazardous Waste Disposal Management
    

• Authority:

  Can hault the production line and regular functioning of any process if found employee working in unsafe condition or due to any unsafe act.

• Accountability:

  Accountable for all compliances related to Safety in coordination with the HR head
