Assistant Manager - Controllership

What will you drive?

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with Indian GAAP and regulatory requirements
• Monitor day-to-day accounting operations, including revenue recognition, expense booking, and reconciliations
• Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors during audits and support in closure of audit findings
• Oversee the month-end and year-end closing process and ensure adherence to timelines
• Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and SOPs for financial processes
• Liaise with business and compliance teams to ensure proper documentation and financial governance
• Handle regulatory reporting requirements specific to NBFCs (e.g., RBI returns, statutory submissions)
• Support in tax audits, GST filings, TDS compliance, and other financial statutory obligations
• Identify automation opportunities and assist in implementation of financial tools or ERP enhancements
• Assist senior leadership with financial insights, dashboards, and ad-hoc reports

Who are we looking for?

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with minimum 3 years of experience in controllership, accounting, or financial reporting in an NBFC or BFSI setup
• Strong understanding of IND AS / Indian GAAP and financial compliance frameworks
• Proficiency in financial tools, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.), and Excel
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
