As an Export-Import Assistant Manager in the medical devices/surgical/pharmaceutical industry at the Moraiya-Changodar plant near Ahmedabad, Gujarat, you will have the exciting opportunity to execute export-import activities for class III/class D medical devices. **Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:** - Negotiate and finalize contracts with freight forwarders. - Handle work related to Advance Authorization, EPCG & COO License/Certificate. - Have basic knowledge of FEMA and Custom Laws. - Prepare pre-shipment and post-shipment documentations. - Coordinate timely with Freight Forwarders, Courier & Custom Agents. - Coordinate bookings with Fedex, DHL, and other transporters. - Plan the delivery and dispatch of goods. - Understand Bank Realization Certificate and Foreign Inward Remittance certificate. - Prepare timely and accurate MIS reports. - Have a fair understanding of Export Benefits, Duty Drawback, and RODTEP schemes. - Maintain records, ensure timely insurance covers, and coordinate insurance claims. - Manage Export-Import functions, ensuring compliance with custom laws, notifications, tariffs, EXIM policy, RBI rules, etc. - Ensure on-time custom clearance. - Handle pre-shipment & post-shipment documentation work and timely submission. - Coordinate closely with dispatches, suppliers, and transport companies. - Follow up for dispatch allocation with the team. - Arrange import shipments and negotiate with forwarders for cost reduction. - Manage relationship with senior officials/service providers and escalate issues. - Deal with custom clearance, claims, GST, DGFT & EPCG Knowledge. - Negotiate and finalize contracts with freight forwarders. - Manage procurement (domestic, imports) and physical exports. - Understand STPI/SEZ, customs/GST rules & regulations. - Track inventory and prepare MIS reports. - Have knowledge about DBK, MEIS & RODTEP schemes of export promotion. **Desired Skills & Experience:** - Work experience in export-import of surgical consumables/medical devices/pharmaceuticals. - Fluency/good command of English. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. **We Offer:** - Collaborative and dynamic work environment. - Opportunity to contribute to innovative and impactful projects. - Competitive salary and benefits package.
