Job Description

Purpose/Objective


    To ensure efficient and compliant administrative operations across the copper manufacturing plant by managing facilities, services, vendor coordination, statutory compliance, and employee support functions. The role supports plant productivity and safety by maintaining a well-organized, secure, and service-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities of Role


    Facility Management: - Oversee maintenance of office infrastructure, utilities, sanitation, and housekeeping. - Ensure availability and upkeep of common areas, meeting rooms, and administrative assets. Vendor and Contract Management: - Manage contracts and relationships with service providers (e.g., housekeeping, security, catering, transport). - Monitor service quality, negotiate renewals, and ensure cost-effectiveness. Travel and Logistics: - Coordinate employee travel, accommodation, and local transport for plant operations and visitors. - Manage logistics for training programs, audits, and corporate visits. Compliance and Safety: - Ensure adherence to statutory and internal compliance related to administrative functions. - Support safety audits and maintain emergency preparedness infrastructure. Budgeting and Cost Control: - Prepare and monitor the administration budget. - Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality. Employee Services: - Facilitate smooth onboarding/offboarding processes from an administrative standpoint. - Address employee grievances related to facilities and services. Record Keeping and Reporting: - Maintain documentation for contracts, licenses, and compliance records. - Generate periodic reports for management review.

Qualifications and Experience


    Education: - Graduate in any discipline (preferably with a specialization in Facility Management / Business Administration). - MBA or PG Diploma in Administration / Operations is an added advantage. Experience: - 4–8 years of experience in plant administration, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setup. - Strong exposure to vendor management, compliance, and facility operations. Skills: - Excellent organizational and negotiation skills. - Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
