Assistant Housekeeping Manager: 1. Operational & Daily Tasks Assist in scheduling and supervising daily cleaning tasks for shared lounges, kitchens, bathrooms, corridors, and resident rooms. Perform spot checks and routine deep cleans—step in for housekeeping duties when required. Coordinate with maintenance to address repairs or defects promptly 2. Quality Control Conduct regular inspections of both private rooms and common areas; maintain checklists and foster continuous quality improvement. Handle resident concerns or cleanliness complaints swiftly and professionally. 3. Team Management & Training Supervise, coach, and onboard housekeeping staff; ensure adherence to grooming, dress code, and SOPs. Conduct performance reviews, lead daily briefings, and support team morale. 4. Inventory & Supplies Track and manage inventory of cleaning products, linens, and amenities. Place orders and ensure cost-efficiency. 5. Administrative Support Assist with budgeting, payroll, staff scheduling, and supply procurement. Maintain logs for lost & found items, housekeeping incidents, and equipment maintenance. Collaborate with front-desk and maintenance teams for smooth operations. 6. Compliance & Safety Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations (chemical handling, PPE, etc.). Implement environmental sustainability protocols where possible. 7. Process Improvement Update/implement SOPs and cleaning checklists tailored to co‑living dynamics. Stay updated on housekeeping trends and suggest improvements.
