Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and process-oriented AGM-HR to support strategic and operational HR initiatives across Sanghi Jewellers. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in industrial relations, performance management, workforce planning, and employee engagement. This role entails implementation of HR policies, coordination with C-suite executives, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

A. Strategic HR Execution

• Support senior leadership in executing HR strategies that align with business and production goals.
• Assist in building a scalable organization structure that supports agility and accountability.
• Help implement HR policies tailored to high-value manufacturing operations and secure environments.

B. Talent Acquisition & Manpower Planning

• Oversee end-to-end recruitment of artisans, QC staff, and managerial positions in collaboration with Talent Acquisition and IR teams.
• Ensure background verification, integrity checks, and skill assessments are built into hiring protocols.
• Plan workforce deployment in coordination with production to ensure peak efficiency and minimal downtime.

C. Workforce Discipline

• Collaborate with Admin and Security to ensure tight coordination of employee movement, locker policies, and shift rotations.
• Implement and monitor biometric access systems, CCTV protocols, and employee compliance in secure zones.
• Lead sensitization programs around gold handling ethics, zero-tolerance policies, and vigilance awareness.

D. Performance & Training

• Ensure timely goal-setting, reviews, and appraisal processes that reward productivity and compliance.
• Track training needs and implement development programs for artisans, floor supervisors, and new hires.

E. Employee Engagement

• Develop initiatives to boost morale, reduce attrition, and improve shopfloor culture.
• Handle employee grievances and conflict resolution while ensuring high standards of integrity.
• Foster a culture of precision, pride, and personal accountability.

F. HR Administration & Process Control

• Implement and govern HRMS, employee records, attendance, payroll coordination, and exit formalities.
• Support internal audits related to workforce movement, documentation, and compliance.
• Continuously improve HR SOPs to reduce risk, improve efficiency, and maintain discipline.

Candidate Profile

• Experience:

  Minimum 8 years of HR experience in manufacturing; exposure to high-security environments like jewellery, pharma, electronics, luxury goods, etc. preferred.

• Qualification:

  MBA/PGDM in HR/Industrial Relations.

• Skills:

  Strong command over HR operations, PMS, labour laws, and engagement policies.

• Travel:

  Willing to travel to contract artisan hubs if required.
