Job Title: Assistant Facility Manager – Engineering
Location: Vizag
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Facility Manager – Engineering to lead technical operations and infrastructure management at our Hyderabad site. This role focuses on ensuring optimal performance of building systems, preventive maintenance, and compliance with engineering standards while driving cost efficiency and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Operations & Maintenance
Plan, implement, and maintain building infrastructure and critical systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, elevators).
Conduct regular inspections of building structures and technical equipment to ensure reliability and safety.
Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all MEP systems.
Energy & Cost Optimization
Monitor utilities consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives.
Drive cost efficiency through resource optimization and sustainable practices.
Team & Vendor Management
Supervise technical staff and manage external contractors for engineering services.
Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety protocols, and compliance standards.
Compliance & Safety
Enforce compliance with local regulations, building codes, and health & safety standards.
Implement risk management strategies and emergency response procedures.
Financial & Administrative Oversight
Manage service contracts, insurance plans, and compliance documentation.
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and operational reports for senior management.
Requirements & SkillsEducation: Bachelor’s degree (BE) or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Facility Management.
Experience: Minimum 6+ years in technical facility management with strong MEP expertise.
Proven experience in managing large commercial facilities and engineering operations.
Skills: Proficiency in Building Automation Systems (BAS) and CMMS software.
Strong knowledge of engineering best practices, building codes, and safety regulations.
Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of basic accounting and budgeting principles.
Relevant licenses and certifications preferred (CFM, FMP, or equivalent).
