Job Details Description KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible to develop FEA models for all tooling used in the Metals R&D area. Rotating equipment or Heavy-Duty Fans with FEA. Experience with Abacus, Ansys, SolidWorks & AutoCAD. Performs and delivers structural analysis, with respect of QCD commitments. Defines, in pre-Engineering phase, with the Train Bodyshell Engineer, the necessary structural calculations to be performed during project execution. Prepares the 3D model for simulations and executes it following standard metier processes. Performs simulation results analysis and proposes optimization solutions. Supports Train Design Engineer in establishing Certification & Validation Plans. Participates to relevant Design / Verification reviews. Contributes to mechanical design and associated program deliverables on subassemblies or small self-contained systems including DFMEA, DFX, packaging, and system testing. Updates program management on project progress and roadblocks. Develop and implement new fixtures and tooling. Reviews project-related analysis results to ensure its accuracy. Provides weight reduction suggestions for existing seating and furniture programs. Responsible for reviewing the detailed mechanical engineering analysis and design on all components required for large, custom rotating equipment. Plan, coordinate, and provide technical and project guidance to engineering teams. Work with Product Leadership teams to increase product performance to give a competitive advantage. Give inputs /specifications to the ITO Risk Assessment process when requested, driving subsequent mitigation plan if required. Requirements And Skills 3D design software, SolidWorks & AutoCAD experience Proficiency in English. Good verbal and written communication.
