Assistant Area Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Lead Sales & Business Development for the Plasters segment in Andhra Pradesh; based in Vijayawada.
• Achieve sales targets by driving project and channel sales, focusing on builder and real estate customer engagement.
• Develop and manage a comprehensive builder/contractor database and track ongoing projects in the region.
• Generate and nurture B2B enquiry pipeline via market intelligence and new leads.
• Appoint, manage, and support Project Dealers; resolve dealer-distributor conflicts and ensure healthy dealer ROI.
• Deliver timely service and products to real estate customers; drive customer satisfaction for high-value accounts.
• Conduct product training and competency development for applicators and channel partners.
• Maintain accurate sales tracking and reporting via MS-CRM; update weekly and monthly activity plans.
• Collaborate with regional teams for post-sales service and claim settlements.
• Facilitate market expansion through dealer engagement, contractor management, and effective pricing strategies.
• Update and manage weekly and monthly market activity plans including product training sessions, mock-up demonstrations, contractor meetings, product/application presentations, and shop meetings.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: BE (Mech / Civil / Electrical) or equivalent, MBA Preferred.
• Min experience: 4 to 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in sales and marketing of Building Material Industry or related segments (same target customer).
• Experience in handling key accounts including architects and channel partners (dealers).
• Strong product knowledge & Excellent persuasion skills..
• Strong knowledge on subjects such as engineering drawings, project management, sustainability.
