Role Overview

Assistant Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, voucher entries, and documentation.
• Process sales and purchase invoices, maintain ledgers, and ensure timely recording of financial transactions.
• Perform bank, vendor, and customer account reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including

  , and other regulatory filings.
• Coordinate with clients for

  payment follow-ups

  and ensure timely collection of dues.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.
• Work closely with the finance team to maintain accuracy and efficiency in accounting operations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Strong proficiency in

  Tally Prime

  and hands-on experience in accounting operations.
• Good understanding of

  GST

  , and basic tax compliance processes.
• Excellent bookkeeping, invoice management, and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to follow up on payments professionally and ensure smooth receivable management.
• Bachelor’s degree in

  Accounting, Finance

  , or related field.
• Certifications in accounting or finance (preferred).
• Prior experience in compliance or financial report preparation is an added advantage.
