Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Manager to support the seamlessexecution of workflows within the Online Communications Department. This role involvesoverseeing asset utilization, managing content repositories, handling data sharing, and ensuringstudio operations run efficiently. The ideal candidate should be structured, dependable, andopen to learning multiple new responsibilities as the department evolves.

Key Responsibilities

  • Asset Management
Maintain a well-documented inventory of departmental equipment, hardware, and digital tools.
Ensure timely procurement, repair, and optimal usage of physical and digital assets.Coordinate audits, tagging systems, and responsible asset handling protocols.
  • Content Repository Management Structure and maintain the department’s footage library, backups, and finalized content archives. Implement standardized file naming, folder structures, and drive organization. Manage data sharing protocols for cross-functional collaboration while ensuring content security and access control. Assist editors and project managers with quick access to past content and resources.
  • Studio Management Ensure studio space is functional, clean, and equipped for all scheduled recordings. Coordinate shoot timings, manage equipment upkeep, and resolve technical issues as they arise. Track studio bookings and maintain a usage log.

Open to learning and taking ownership of new tasks and evolving workflows beyond the currentscope.Willing to explore areas like process automation, production coordination, logistics, or basicmedia tech tools depending on departmental needs.

Additional Responsibilities (Dynamic)

Support production and publishing workflows by coordinating with internal teams.Assist in creating and refining department SOPs.Handle data sharing between teams, editors, external vendors, and other departments asrequired.Identify operational bottlenecks and propose system/process improvements.Help with any ad-hoc requirements from HOD or reporting authorities.

Skills And Qualifications

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.Familiarity with asset tracking, content management systems, and collaborative tools likeGoogle Workspace.Experience handling structured data storage and secure sharing protocols is a plus.Comfortable working in a media-rich environment (experience in media production is a plus).Positive attitude, team-first mindset, and readiness to take initiative.
