Junior UX/UI Designer

Job Description

Role Summary We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior UX/UI Designer to craft seamless and spiritually enriching digital experiences for ISKCON Bangalore’s websites, mobile apps, and online platforms. You’ll support both the structural (UX) and visual (UI) aspects of design, ensuring our digital presence is intuitive, beautiful, and aligned with the values of Srila Prabhupada’s mission. Key Responsibilities UX Responsibilities Assist in creating user flows, wireframes, sitemaps, and low-fidelity prototypes. Conduct basic UX research, such as user interviews, surveys, and feedback collection. Help define user personas and map their journeys across our digital platforms. Identify usability issues and suggest improvements based on user behavior. Collaborate with the content and development teams to ensure a user-centric experience. UI Responsibilities Design clean, devotional, and consistent UI elements including buttons, forms, typography, layouts, and icons. Create high-fidelity mockups and final UI designs for mobile and web interfaces. Ensure responsive design compatibility across devices. Develop and maintain a consistent visual style in line with ISKCON Bangalore’s brand. Prepare design assets and support developers during implementation to ensure visual accuracy. Contribute to a shared design system or component library. Required Skills & Tools Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and design thinking. Proficiency in Figma (preferred), Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar tools. Basic knowledge of Photoshop / Illustrator for asset creation. Familiarity with HTML/CSS (optional but beneficial). Ability to create responsive and mobile-first designs. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Eligibility & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field. 0–2 years of experience in UX/UI design (internships and freelance experience count). A portfolio showcasing UX processes and UI design work (PDF or online). Desirable Qualities Interest in devotional service and alignment with ISKCON’s values and aesthetics.
