Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Organize, coordinate, and supervise daily operations in the assembly department.
  • Monitor and ensure the fulfilment of the production schedule
  • Oversee the quality of completed products.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance in all operations.
  • Train and develop staff on best practices and safety procedures.
  • Implement and enforce good manufacturing practices and safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely supply of materials and information.
  • Continuously improve production processes to increase efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, and maintenance activities.
Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Proven 10-year experience in similar role in managing light engineering assembly shop.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work with technical documentation.
  • Good computer skills (MS Office; ERP systems is a plus).
  • Responsible, disciplined, and able to perform under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and strong commitment to quality and safety.
