As a Faade Design Engineer based in Bangalore, you will play a pivotal role in leading the design and detailing of high-performance faade systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and validating innovative faade designs according to project scope & specifications. - Preparing shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and 3D models (using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, HICAD) for various faade elements such as unitized systems, curtain walls, glazing, ACP cladding, louvers, and skylights. - Collaborating with architects, consultants, and project teams to ensure design intent is maintained and resolving technical queries. - Providing technical guidance to production and procurement teams, including material take-offs and compliance with codes & standards. - Leading design coordination meetings, securing timely approvals, and managing client interactions. - Staying updated with the latest faade technologies, materials, and industry best practices. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors/Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering. - Minimum of 5 years experience in faade design & detailing, with a preference for experience in India/GCC projects. - Strong expertise in AutoCAD; exposure to SolidWorks, HICAD, and other 3D modeling tools would be advantageous. - Deep knowledge of faade materials such as aluminum, glass, ACP, steel, and installation techniques. - Excellent communication skills, project ownership mentality, and ability to coordinate with clients effectively.
