Assembly Manager

As an Assembly Production Manager at one of the Leading Electronic Manufacturing clients, your role will involve overseeing production processes to ensure achievement of plan vs actual targets, output, target volume, etc. set by PPC. This includes monitoring UPH and balancing the line, meeting capacity utilization specifications, meeting work order requirements within stipulated time, monitoring OEE, and achieving on-time delivery. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to IQC/OQC specifications, all matrices involved in final product quality, and minimizing costs due to poor quality. Key Responsibilities: - Achieve plan vs actual targets, output, target volume, etc. set by PPC - Monitor UPH, balance the line, and meet capacity utilization specifications - Meet work order requirements and close work orders within stipulated time - Monitor OEE and achieve on-time delivery - Ensure adherence to IQC/OQC specifications and final product quality matrices - Focus on critical machines for processing and minimize costs due to poor quality - Improve cycle time through low-cost automation - Undertake initiatives to reduce breakdowns and mode of failures - Evaluate ideas and corrective/preventive actions from supervisors - Use Kaizen for minor and continuous process and machinery improvements - Implement and maintain 5S on the shop floor Qualifications Required: - Strong understanding of production processes and targets - Experience in quality assurance and process improvement - Knowledge of inventory management and waste reduction strategies - Familiarity with safety guidelines and incident reporting procedures - Ability to manage a team effectively and drive performance improvements In this role, you will be expected to manage manpower requirements for production, minimize incidents/accidents by ensuring safety guidelines are followed, maintain inventory targets, handle waste according to protocols, and adhere to the defined escalation matrix for any issues. Additionally, you will be responsible for team onboarding, performance management, conducting on-the-job training, and developing supervisors and shift managers based on identified competencies.,
