Business Development Lead

Job Description

Business Development leader is responsible for driving business development of Defence AI organization and offerings, driving innovation & growth, nurturing talent, making Adani Defence a key player in Defence & Aerospace AI applications, locally & globally. Key Accountabilities Build business pipeline: Engaging with Defence / Aerospace stakeholders to shape offerings of relevance Responsible from lead to contract , Build organization: Create and Nurture best in class capabilities across critical Defence AI domains Strategic planning & partnership: Identify new areas of capability development, aligned to upcoming customer requirements Technical Competencies : Understanding of AI and Tech deployments in military contexts (Army, Navy, Airforce, CDS etc.) Maintaining relationships with various defense agencies to collaborate on topics of relevance Good understanding of geopolitical landscape and dynamics in the Indian subcontinent and beyond Behavioral Competencies : Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills Entrepreneurial ability & high goal orientation, navigating fast paced & unstructured environment Rapid prioritization & clear decision making Should champion use of modern state-of-the-art technologies to meet with upcoming challenges in security affairs. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Armed services/ Intelligence services RELEVANT EXPERIENCE / SKILLS: 15+ years’ experience in & with Indian/ International Defence entities (Army, Navy, Airforce etc.) Direct oversight of AI technology deployments in Defence context Direct oversight of procurement procedures for tech intensive products in Defence context Experience in Cyber Security is desirable.
