Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled QA Engineer to join our dynamic technology team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through meticulous test planning, execution, and automation. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle. Test Planning And Strategy The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, excellent problem-solving abilities, and hands-on experience with C#, Selenium, Playwright, and Cypress for test : Analyze requirements, user stories, and design specifications to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases. Define test objectives, scope, and strategies for various testing phases (functional, regression, integration, etc. Identify and prioritize test scenarios based on risk and business impact. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and Automation : Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automated test scripts using C# with Selenium WebDriver for web application testing. Implement and utilize Playwright and Cypress for end-to-end testing of modern web applications. Develop and maintain test frameworks and automation infrastructure. Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing. Analyze automation results, identify failures, and report defects Testing : Perform manual testing when necessary, including exploratory testing, functional testing, and regression testing. Document test execution results clearly and Management : Identify, document, and track software defects using a bug tracking system (e.g., Jira). Collaborate with development teams to reproduce, troubleshoot, and verify bug fixes. Participate in defect triage and Communication : Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members in an Agile environment. Communicate effectively on test progress, issues, and risks. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings. Provide constructive feedback on requirements and design specifications from a testability and Load Testing (Good to have) : Participate in performance and load testing activities using relevant tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus. Required Skills And Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3- 6 years of professional experience in software quality assurance. Strong proficiency in C# programming language. Extensive hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for web application test automation. Proven experience in implementing and utilizing Playwright and Cypress for modern web application testing. Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr). Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla). Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and integrating automated tests.
