Area Sales Officer

Job Description As an Area Sales Officer at Welspun World, your primary responsibility will be to manage sales and distribution operations in your designated territory for the domestic business segment. You will play a crucial role in driving sales growth, maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring the successful implementation of sales strategies and initiatives. Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute effective sales strategies to enhance sales growth within the assigned area. - Supervise and manage the day-to-day activities of the sales department. - Analyze performance metrics regularly and recommend enhancements for better results. - Create monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts. - Keep abreast of new product launches and ensure the sales team is well-informed. - Establish and nurture strong and enduring customer relationships. - Negotiate and finalize agreements with major clients. - Monitor competition in the designated region and provide reports to the Head of Sales & Distribution. - Participate in sales and networking events to foster relationships and showcase company products. - Offer prompt and efficient solutions that cater to client requirements. - Collaborate with the Marketing and Product Development teams to maintain brand consistency and boost sales. - Develop and manage a robust distribution network to guarantee the widespread availability of the company's products and services in your assigned area. - Conduct regular market intelligence activities to stay informed about competitor actions, market trends, and adjust strategies accordingly. Qualifications Required - Strong understanding of the domestic trade market. - Excellent negotiation, influencing, and analytical skills. - Proven track record in sales management. - Global mindset and business acumen. - Proficiency in people management and entrepreneurship.
