Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Sales Manager located in Vadodara. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, building and maintaining customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets within the assigned area. The role also involves preparing sales reports, analyzing market trends, managing accounts, and coordinating with various departments to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales, business development, and account management
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of microbiology products or experience in the biotechnology or life sciences industry is preferred
• Ability to identify market trends, analyze competitors, and develop actionable strategies
• Demonstrated ability in problem-solving, decision-making, and team collaboration
• Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office tools
• Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field; MBA or equivalent in Sales/Marketing is a plus
