Job Overview

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing sales operations within the assigned region, developing strategic plans to achieve business targets, and leading a team of sales executives and representatives. This role involves team leadership, performance monitoring, and market expansion within the FMCG domain.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Area Sales Executives and Sales Representatives.
  • Develop and execute area sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual targets.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Conduct regular meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions for the sales team.
  • Strengthen relationships with distributors, retailers, and key partners to ensure business growth.
  • Prepare and analyze sales reports, identify gaps, and implement improvement strategies.
  • Ensure execution of promotional activities and new product launches.
  • Maintain discipline, ensure compliance, and promote company ethics and policies.


Required Skills & Competencies

  • Proven team leadership and sales management experience.
  • Excellent communication in

    Local language, English, and Hindi.

  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle pressure and deliver results in a competitive market.
  • FMCG industry knowledge is preferred.


Qualification & Experience

  • Education:

    Graduation (mandatory).
  • Experience:

    Minimum 8 years to maximum 12 years in FMCG sales or related domain.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary:

    ₹60,000 – ₹65,000 per month (for Mumbai).
  • Travel Allowance (TA):

    Yes.
  • Additional Benefits:

    Mobile reimbursement, medical care, monthly reimbursements
