Role Overview

The Area Sales Manager – Pune will independently drive B2B doctor sales, expand regional doctor coverage, and deliver 15 lakhs monthly revenue through rigorous field sales, doctor acquisition, and relationship management.

This is a hardcore field role requiring strong doctor relationships, deep dermatology domain knowledge, and a high-performance mindset.

Key Responsibilities

1. Revenue Generation & Sales Execution

  • Achieve 15 lakhs monthly revenue (individual target).

  • Drive sales for premium skincare & aesthetic products priced 3,000–30,000.

  • Increase wallet share through strong up-selling and cross-selling.

  • Execute focused product pushes for high-value SKUs and fast-moving lines.

  • Ensure 100% collections, timely follow-ups, and zero overdue payments.

  • Deliver month-on-month growth across dermatology, cosmetic, and trichology clinics.

  • Identify territory gaps and implement focused business growth plans.

2. Doctor Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Acquire new B2B accounts:

    • Dermatologists

    • Aesthetic physicians

    • Plastic surgeons

    • Cosmetologists

    • Trichologists

    • Laser & hair transplant doctors

  • Conduct 8–10 clinic visits daily (meetings, demos, product detailing).

  • Maintain an active network of 200+ dermatology/aesthetic doctors.

  • Develop long-term professional relationships with KOLs and top prescribers.

  • Organize CMEs, workshops, and in-clinic engagement activities.

  • Ensure strong follow-up discipline and high doctor retention rate.

3. Product Expertise & Competitive Knowledge

  • Maintain strong command over dermatology, cosmeceuticals, and aesthetic devices.

  • Conduct product demos, trials, and doctor training sessions.

  • Stay updated with market pricing, competitor strategies, and new product launches.

  • Share actionable competitor intelligence with management.

4. CRM & Reporting

  • Log daily visits, demos, inquiries, conversions, and payments in CRM.

  • Maintain accuracy and transparency of all CRM entries.

  • Share weekly/monthly sales reports, conversion trackers, and field plans.

  • Track doctor funnel movement: Sample Trial First Order Repeat Order.

5. Field Planning & Brand Execution

  • Create structured weekly & monthly visit calendars aligned with sales priorities.

  • Identify top clinics, new opportunity zones, and high-value prospects.

  • Plan and execute product sampling, marketing activities, and brand visibility programs.

  • Coordinate with the marketing team for collaterals, CMEs, and campaigns.

6. Performance Metrics & KPIs

  • Achieve a minimum of INR 1,00,000 business per month through lateral or vertical conversions from the 4th month onward to qualify for DA (Doctor Allowance).

  • Mandatory Check-In & Check-Out on KEKA HR Software as per company policy.

  • Mandatory Check-In & Check-Out on LeadSquared CRM, with minimum 8 doctor visits updated daily (including remarks, follow-ups, and status).

  • Maintain a high conversion ratio across the funnel: Sample Demo First Order Repeat Order.

  • Ensure low attrition of existing doctors and maintain a high retention and repeat-purchase ratio.

  • Deliver consistent month-on-month growth across key SKUs, strategic clinics, and high-value accounts.

  • Maintain 100% accuracy in CRM entries and reporting compliance.

  • Ensure on-time collections and maintain zero overdue outstanding accounts.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education

  • Graduate/Postgraduate preferred (Science / Pharmacy / Cosmetology / Business Management).

Experience

  • 5–8 years of on-ground dermatology/aesthetic/cosmeceutical sales.

  • Must have managed premium skincare or aesthetics product portfolio (3K–30K).

  • Must have strong doctor relationships with 200+ active dermatology/aesthetic contacts.

  • Proven revenue record of generating 5 lakhs per month individually.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong doctor relationship-building capability.

  • Excellent closing, negotiation & conversion skills.

  • CRM usage proficiency (LeadSquared/Zoho/Salesforce).

  • Strong communication, presentation, and product detailing skills.

  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and highly field-driven.

  • Ability to work independently with high accountability.

Compensation & Benefits

  • CTC: 40,000 – 50,000 per month (based on experience)
