Job Description

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving insurance sales through the agency or distributor network within the assigned territory. This individual contributor role focuses on building and managing agency & distributor partnerships, achieving sales targets, and contributing to the companys growth in the insurance market.

Role & responsibilities

Responsible to achieve sales target set by the company for new business development & perform all prescribed sales activities related to insurance in the assigned area.
Preparing monthly field plan for developing & managing customers (new as well as existing) within the assigned territory.
Enhance market penetration by developing & managing network of retailers, dealers, distributors, franchises to achieve business growth.
Monitor agent performance, analyze sales data, and implement strategies to optimize results.
Foster strong relationships with agents and key stakeholders to ensure long-term collaboration and loyalty.
Maintain coordination & submit sales reports and forecasts reports to RSM/Management on regular interval basis.

Preferred candidate profile

Good in Communication, Confident, positive attitude, convincing skills, ability to build interpersonal relationship.
Must have strong hands-on Presentation, Projection, Planning & Coordination, Negotiation skills, and dealing with customers & Consultative Sales Skills.
Minimum of 3+ years in insurance sales or business development
