Job Description


We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our sales team in the SME segment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management and leadership, with a proven track record of achieving business targets and driving growth. This position is based in Cochin. Roles and Responsibility
  • Lead and manage sales, collection, and operations teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Provide strategic guidance and set clear targets for the team.
  • Drive incremental growth in the book size while maintaining portfolio health and hygiene.
  • Ensure sales and collection targets are met or exceeded.
  • Establish partnerships with relevant sourcing agents and build alternate sourcing channels.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of the sales process and implement best practices to streamline sales operations.
  • Focus on fee income generation and cost-effective process management to optimize revenue streams.
  • Train and provide technical expertise to Relationship Managers and Field Sales Staff on various financial products.
  • Coordinate with the corporate team to customize products as per specific regional requirements and ensure products are tailored to meet local market demands.
  • Implement cross-selling strategies to maximize product penetration within the portfolio and identify opportunities to promote related products and services.
  • Maintain a Nil NPA portfolio by actively monitoring and managing credit risks and implement effective risk mitigation measures.

  • Graduate or post-graduate degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management and leadership.
  • Proven track record of achieving business targets and driving growth.
  • Strong knowledge of financial products and services, including leasing, insurance, and wealth management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and guide teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and drive results-oriented sales performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to monitor and manage credit risks.
