Travel Requirement: 90% Field Travelling Across Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal & Assam

Role Overview

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, building and managing channel partners, and expanding Petro Industech’s market presence across UP, West Bengal & Assam.
This role requires extensive travelling (90%), strong field execution, and deep understanding of distributor-retailer networks.

Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Revenue

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Ensure product penetration and dealer coverage across all assigned states.
  • Increase repeat orders and manage sales forecasting.

2. Dealer / Distributor Management

  • Identify and appoint new distributors in key cities of UP, WB & Assam.
  • Maintain strong relationships and support channel partners with stock planning.
  • Resolve disputes, improve service levels, and ensure smooth order flow.

3. Field Activities (90% Travel)

  • 20–22 days of market travel every month.
  • Daily retailer visits, market surveys, plumber/contractor meetups.
  • Regular visits to high-potential districts and remote markets.
  • Conduct product demos and promote new launches.

4. Market Intelligence

  • Track competitor products, pricing, schemes, and market trends.
  • Submit field feedback to management for strategic decision making.

5. Coordination & Reporting

  • Coordinate with Telecalling, Inside Sales, Dispatch & Accounts teams.
  • Maintain daily sales report (DSR), tour plan, and MIS reports.
  • Follow company SOPs for distributor documentation and monthly reviews.

Eligibility CriteriaEducation

  • Graduate

Experience

  • 2–7 years of experience in channel sales in:

✔ Sanitaryware
✔ Bathroom Accessories✔ Hardware & Fittings✔ Building Material Industry

Skills

  • Strong communication & negotiation skills.
  • Must be comfortable with 90% travelling.
  • Good knowledge of dealer-distributor network.
  • Proficiency in Excel, mobile CRM, WhatsApp communication, reporting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
