Job Title: Government Sales Executive / Project Sales Engineer Location: Delhi NCR Department: Sales & Marketing Reports to: Director of Sales Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a driven and strategic Government Sales Executive or Project Sales Engineer to lead business development efforts with federal, state, and local government agencies. This role involves identifying government contracting opportunities, managing the bidding process, building relationships with key government stakeholders, and achieving revenue targets through strategic sales efforts. Key Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with federal, state, and local government agencies. Develop and maintain strong relationships with procurement officers, agency decision-makers, and key influencers. Manage the full sales cycle pricing strategies, contract negotiation, and post-award support. Understand and navigate the government procurement process Collaborate with internal teams including legal, product, and marketing to support compliant and compelling bids. Track industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions affecting public sector demand. Meet or exceed sales targets and quarterly quotas. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Business, Public Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus). 0–4 years of experience in B2G (Business-to-Government) sales or public sector business development. Proven track record of winning government contracts or driving sales in a regulated environment. Familiarity with government procurement tools and platforms (e.g., SAM.gov, eBuy, FedBizOpps). Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong understanding of compliance, contractual, and security requirements in government sales. Ability to travel as required.
