Your Responsibilities
ADM is looking Area Sales Manager for branded oil division. your primary responsibility will be to manage the sales operations within Panjab and Haryana state. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, achieving revenue targets, and building strong relationships with customers and distributors.
  • Monitor sales performance against targets on an ongoing basis. Identify sales gaps and take corrective actions to ensure targets are met or exceeded. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure optimal coverage of the area and coordinate with the team to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Appointing the right set of channel partners with appropriate experience, good infrastructure, financially strong and with an attitude to grow
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and other stakeholders in the area.
  • Develop and manage the sales budget for the assigned area. Monitor and control expenses, analyze variances, and ensure optimal utilization of resources while maintaining profitability.
  • To develop and maintain a strong sales infrastructure.
  • Coordinating with the marketing team to make sure that the region has access to enough merchandising and promotional opportunities to support marketing efforts and increase sales there.
  • Maintaining adequate supply levels at the CFA, distributor point, and consumer point.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience of 10-15 years as a sales manager or in a similar role within the edible oil industry.
  • Strong understanding of the edible oil market, industry trends, and customer preferences.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the food industry in the area of marketing/sales
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel; confident handling of MS-Office; Sound Presentation skills
