Key Responsibilities 1. Business Development & Budget Achievement Meet or exceed the revenue and gross margin budget for his assigned territory Execute business development activities within defined timelines. Develop distributors, create a network of dealers and engage distributors in business development activities 2. Pre-Sales Planning & Territory mapping Mapping of assigned territory Identify sales prospects Gather related information of the respective suspect/ prospects Promote appropriate product lines based on customer needs Get clarity of the product from the respective product managers Build a sales funnel through structured sales processes Regularly updating self on various product themes, visual aids, product dossiers, pack inserts, and other knowledge resources provided 3. Product Promotion & Sales Creating awareness about client's specialized in-vitro clinical diagnostic products to clinical laboratories, hospital laboratories, clinician offices and medical colleges. Conduct technical demonstrations to create business. Handover the product literature and promotional inputs to the prospect for further validation Lead prospect meetings, present products, and facilitate discussions. Address customer queries and objections with support from technical or managerial resources. Identify key decision-makers and influencers in the purchasing process Provide quotations, negotiate terms, and support deal closure in coordination with reporting managers. 4. Reporting & Planning Maintain daily activity reports and prepare travel plans in advance Ensure timely documentation of customer interactions and updates. Preferred candidate profile Experience: 0 - 5 years of relevant experience in diagnostics or life sciences sales preferred. (Suitable freshers could be considered for Account Manager positions). Education: Masters degree (M.Sc.) in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Zoology or related Life Sciences specialization Skills & Attributes: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals. Technical understanding of diagnostic solutions. Results-driven with a structured, process-oriented approach. Willingness to travel extensively for business meetings and development. Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
