AREA MANAGER – JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: Pazhanji (Kunnamkulam) Branch & Thrissur Branch
Department: Sales

Position Overview:

The Area Manager is responsible for overseeing and driving the sales performance of multiple branches - Pazhanji (Kunnamkulam) and Thrissur. This role includes supervising branch sales teams, ensuring achievement of monthly targets, monitoring daily operations, and maintaining excellent customer service standards. The Area Manager acts as a bridge between the branches and the Head Office, ensuring proper implementation of all policies and sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and monitor daily sales activities at Pazhanji and Thrissur branches.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets assigned by the management.
  • Lead, guide, and motivate the branch sales teams to improve productivity and performance.
  • Conduct regular branch visits, reviews, and sales meetings.
  • Ensure proper customer service, timely follow-ups, and closure of leads.
  • Implement and maintain NFAD sales policies, procedures, and promotional activities.
  • Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly sales reports to the Sales Head and General Manager.
  • Maintain strong coordination between Branch Managers, Zonal Manager, and Head Office departments.
  • Monitor staff discipline, punctuality, and professionalism at both branches.
  • Identify new business opportunities, potential markets, and customer requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with cooperative society guidelines and organizational standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Good knowledge of sales strategies and customer relationship management.
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in sales supervision or area management (preferable).
  • Proficiency in reporting, planning, and target execution.

Working Style & Expectations:

  • Regular field visits between both assigned branches.
  • Strict monitoring of sales performance and lead follow-up.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,916.78 - ₹50,415.54 per month
