Job Description

Role Summary

The Area Manager is responsible for driving individual and team sales for all types (HL/PL/LAP/SME/Working Capital, Etc;) of loan products, acquiring customers, and leading a productive team of Business Development Managers (min-5 members). The position is focused on achieving aggressive sales targets, expanding market presence in the region, and building a high-performance sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop & execute aggressive direct loan sales strategies to achieve individual targets, acquire high-value customers, and drive business growth in the designated territory.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of at least 5 Business Development Managers. Provide ongoing support, motivation, and guidance to ensure team targets are consistently met.
  • Set sales targets for the team, track progress, conduct daily/weekly reviews, and report performance metrics to senior management.
  • Personally handle key customer relationships, including acquisition and retention, to contribute to individual and branch targets.
  • Identify and exploit new business opportunities, network with local DSAs, agents, and partners to expand market reach.
  • Supervise and drive team performance, ensure productivity, provide field training, and resolve field-level challenges.
  • Monitor competitor activity and local market trends to coordinate counter-strategies and maximize business opportunities.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all regulatory, operational, and company-specific policies and processes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in loan sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership/team management profile.
  • Strong knowledge of loan products, sales strategies, and local market (Ghaziabad/UP)
  • Proven track record of target achievement, handling both direct sales and team results.
  • Experience recruiting, onboarding, and developing sales teams in the financial sector.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate and lead a field sales team.

Salary & Benefits

  • Annual CTC: ₹5 – ₹10 lakh plus performance-based incentives and allowances (commensurate with experience and results).
