Draft, vet, and review loan agreements, sanction letters, hypothecation deeds, mortgage deeds, NDAs, and other business contracts.
Ensure all agreements are in compliance with RBI guidelines, NBFC regulations, and internal policies.
Maintain a centralized record of executed agreements and track renewals.
Conduct legal due diligence for borrowers, vendors, and property offered as collateral.
Identify and mitigate legal risks in lending, leasing, and investment transactions.
Verify title documents, encumbrance certificates, and other legal papers related to securities.
Liaise with empaneled advocates for legal opinions and documentation.
Coordinate with government departments, sub-registrar offices, and regulatory authorities for documentation and compliance.
Prepare periodic MIS and reports for management on legal status and compliance updates.
