Role Overview

Distribution Sales professionals

Based on experience, qualification, and leadership capability, candidates will be mapped to:

  • Area Head – Distribution Sales (IC Role)

    OR
  • Product Head – Distribution Sales (Team Handling Role)

Key Responsibilities (Common for Both Roles)

  • Drive

    primary & secondary sales targets

    across assigned geography
  • Manage and strengthen the

    distributor network

  • Execute trade schemes, promotions, and visibility initiatives
  • Ensure product availability, visibility, and market penetration
  • Monitor distributor stock norms, credit, and throughput
  • Track competitor activity and provide actionable market insights
  • Conduct regular market visits and outlet coverage
  • Prepare MIS, forecasts, and performance reviews
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and sales processes

Additional Responsibilities – Product Head (Team Handling)

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a

    regional sales team

  • Own regional business planning, target setting, and execution
  • Drive market expansion and distributor optimization strategies
  • Present business reviews and forecasts to senior leadership

Candidate Profile – Area Head (IC Role)

  • 5+ years

    of experience in FMCG / FMEG / Electrical Distribution Sales
  • Strong distributor-led GT execution experience
  • Ability to work independently in a

    target-driven IC role

  • Education:

    Graduate (Any discipline)

  • Age:

    Up to 35 years

  • Notice Period:

    Less than 30 days

Candidate Profile – Product Head (Team Handling Role)

  • 12+ years

    of experience in FMCG / FMEG Distribution Sales
  • Proven

    team handling & people leadership

    experience
  • Strong GT strategy, territory planning, and execution expertise
  • Education:

    MBA – Sales & Marketing (Mandatory)

  • Age:

    Up to 45 years

  • Notice Period:

    Less than 30 days

Mandatory Screening Criteria (Both Roles)

  • Background from

    Electricals / FMEG / FMCG Distribution only

  • Strong GT & distributor management exposure
  • Stable career history

    (frequent job changes not preferred)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
