Job Description Role Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Ecommerce Logistics Executive to manage and streamline logistics and fulfilment operations for Bata India’s Ecommerce business. This role will serve as the single point of contact for all logistics and supply chain activities related to Ecommerce orders (B2B and B2C), ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers. Key Responsibilities: Act as the logistics SPOC for Bata India’s Ecommerce operations, ensuring timely and complete order fulfilment. Coordinate with 3PL warehouse teams to ensure timely inbound, put-away, inventorying, picking, packing, and dispatch of Ecommerce orders. Manage the processing, fulfilment, and delivery of B2B purchase orders in line with marketplace appointment schedules. Collaborate with transporters and the transportation team to ensure timely, efficient deliveries to B2B and B2C customers. Oversee contracts and operations with B2C 3PL partners to ensure compliance with SLAs for inbound GRNs, outbound invoicing, and return processing. Ensure customer returns are processed promptly to maintain inventory accuracy and maximize availability of saleable stock. Monitor and track monthly performance of Ecommerce 3PL partners and drive continuous improvements in cost and process efficiency. Ensure Ecommerce logistics operations stay within budget while meeting performance and service targets. Lead monthly reviews with business teams and 3PL partners to discuss operational metrics, address challenges, and drive improvements. Coordinate warehouse stock audits and ensure high inventory accuracy. Represent the logistics function in Ecommerce’s S&OP and Monthly Business Reviews. Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and manage returns or cancellations. Use data to analyze operations, identify trends, and implement improvement initiatives. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to support decision-making and operational excellence. Job Requirement Key Skills & Competencies: Strong understanding of Ecommerce logistics, including B2B and B2C order fulfilment, warehousing, transportation, and inventory management. Excellent problem-solving abilities to resolve logistics and fulfilment challenges effectively. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, customers, and external partners. Proficiency in ERP systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and reporting tools to manage and analyze operational data. Qualifications: Graduate in any discipline; MBA preferred. 6-8 years of experience in logistics operations, with at least 4-6 years in Ecommerce logistics (B2B and B2C), preferably in Retail, FMCG, F&B, or Ecommerce sectors. Preferred Industry Background: FMCG / Retail / Ecommerce / Food & Beverages 3PL service providers with experience managing Ecommerce operations for Retail, FMCG, or F&B clients (e.g., DSV, DHL, DP World)
