Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Credit Manager to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 7 years of experience in credit appraisal, underwriting, and risk assessment. Roles and Responsibility
Prepare and amend notes and financial models with correct information.
Develop and maintain credit notes, detailing transaction structuring and assessment.
Regularly interact with collections and sales teams to track delinquencies and study delinquent cases.
Meet customers to understand industry and market trends.
Pre-approve and rate clients with exposure over Rs 500L.
Conduct regular training sessions for sales, channel partners, and field staff on product policies and processes.
Control and monitor post-disbursement documents, invoices, insurance, and RC through interactions with sales and customers.
Manage the portfolio to meet quality documentation, post-disbursement document, and delinquency level requirements.
Work on projects and process improvements.
Critically evaluate transaction, business, financial, and industry risks involved in any given industry.
Identify relevant and associated risks and submit appropriate mitigation strategies.
Perform detailed financial analysis, attending to major movements in P&L and Balance sheet, and ascertaining/citing the precise reasons for such movements.
Prepare credit notes comprising transaction structure and credit view, detailing risks and mitigants.
Develop detailed financial appraisals covering business model, working capital cycle, profitability, etc.
Engage with people in other banks and FIs to gather market intelligence on policies, focus areas, and portfolio health.
Identify automation opportunities in existing processes and new product development.
Ensure minimal audit queries, including RBI and statutory audits, and resolve them within prescribed timelines.
Maintain thorough knowledge of CE/CSV market practices.
Actively participate in customer visits.
Provide regular MIS on market intelligence.

Job
Minimum 2 years of experience in credit appraisal, underwriting, or risk assessment.
Strong knowledge of credit underwriting, financial modeling, and risk assessment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A minimum degree of MBA/PGDBA/PGPM/CA or equivalent is required.
