Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Area Credit Manager located in Chennai. The Area Credit Manager will be responsible for credit management and credit risk management, analyzing financial data to assess creditworthiness, and making credit decisions. Daily tasks include reviewing and approving loan applications, ensuring compliance with credit policies, and working closely with the sales team to optimize the credit portfolio. The role also involves monitoring and managing credit performance and taking corrective actions when necessary.

Qualifications

• Preferably CA/ Inter CA
• Experience in Credit Management and Credit Risk Management
• Strong Analytical Skills and proficiency in Finance
• Knowledge of credit assessment and decision-making processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work on-site in Chennai
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Experience in the housing finance industry is a plus
