As an Area Business Head, your role is crucial in driving sales, market penetration, and revenue growth within the assigned territory, specifically focusing on promoting the company's Mental Health Education Program in schools. Your responsibilities include: - Generating orders from schools by effectively demonstrating the company's program to school management, principals, and coordinators. - Developing and implementing sales strategies to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. - Identifying new business opportunities in schools and distribution networks, and establishing a network of school book vendors. - Managing and nurturing relationships with channel partners (booksellers) to drive adoptions and institutional sales in schools. - Identifying potential markets, growth opportunities, and gaps for the product, and utilizing market intelligence for expansion. - Ensuring timely collection of receivables, adherence to credit policies, and providing regular performance metrics and forecasts to senior management. - Planning and executing below-the-line (BTL) activities like book fairs, school events, and seasonal campaigns to promote the program effectively. Key Skills & Competencies required for this role include: - Strong understanding of book publishing and the educational ecosystem. - Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills. - Analytical mindset with a focus on results and profitability. - Proficiency in sales planning, forecasting, and the willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area. Qualifications needed for this position: - Graduate/Postgraduate degree. - Additional exposure to educational products or the publishing industry would be a strong advantage.
