Location: Andheri, Mumbai

Experience: Minimum of 15–18 years in an architectural consultancy, with at least 10 years in leading commercial or mixed-use projects.

Reporting to: Principal Director

Salary: Up to ₹35 LPA (including 10 % PLI) Employment

Type: Full-time

Work Days: Monday to Friday


Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Design Manager with a strong background in commercial and mixed-use architecture projects. The ideal candidate will be a qualified architect with 15–18 years of industry experience, including a minimum of 10 years leading large-scale projects and teams. This role demands not only technical and design excellence but also the ability to nurture client relationships and contribute to business development in Bangalore and Chennai.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Client Relationship :

•Strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure retention, profitability, and project continuity.

•Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the firm's presence and revenue.

•Present and promote new services while enhancing current offerings.


2. Leadership & Team Development :

•Mentor, develop, and manage a team of 8–10 senior architects, architects, and technicians.

•Identify skill gaps and provide development opportunities through training, special projects, and mentoring.

•Oversee the entire project lifecycle—from concept to delivery—within budgetary constraints.


3. Design Development & Management :

•Lead multiple architectural projects from inception to completion.

•Interpret client briefs and convert them into feasibility reports and design proposals.

•Guide the design team to create innovative, functional, and sustainable solutions aligned with current architectural trends.


4. Drawing Management :

•Oversee the production of high-quality schematic and working drawings.

•Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and company standards.

•Provide hands-on guidance to the team for timely and precise project delivery.


5. Consultant & Vendor Coordination :

•Coordinate with structural and MEP consultants during design and execution phases.

•Liaise with vendors for the selection of materials and finishes.


6. Client & Site Coordination :

•Maintain regular communication with clients and their representatives for feedback and project updates.

•Collaborate with project managers to ensure design deliverables meet site requirements.

•Conduct periodic site visits and prepare progress reports.


Qualification and Skills

•B.Arch or Equivalent (5-Year Bachelor's Degree in Architecture)

•Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Google SketchUp, and MS Office.

•Must have successfully completed at least two full-cycle projects of a minimum of 1 million sq. ft. each.

•Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

•Proven ability to manage complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.

•Should be able to travel outstation for project site visits which may also require more than 2 days stay

•Ready work in stretched working hrs to meet the desired timeline
