ARCHITECT'S JOB DESCRIPTION.
1. SHOULD HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF FOLLOWING SOFTWARE
a. Auto CAD
b. MS Office
c. Sketchup
d. Use of email communication
2. Should be able to handle following drawings independently with own experience and knowledge
a. Architectural drawing as per given sketch
b. Design as per basic guidelines of an architect and DCR
c. Prepare Presentation/ sale drawing
d. Auto DCR/ Pre DCR/ BPAMS
e. Prepare municipal and approval drawings with all the required calculations.
f. Finalize column positions with respect to planning requirements
g. Prepare complete set of working drawings and details as per municipal approved drawing and finalized elevation of the project.
3. Important Qualities required in the candidate
a. Should be knowledgeable seek and share knowledge with others
b. Work as a team player with good interpersonal skills
c. Good knowledge of spoken and written English communication, email drafting is must.
d. Work on time with correct output, should make and keep his / her own notes for future references.
e. Maintain daily work log and time schedules and complete the work on time CORRECTLY. ‘Correctness of the drawings’ is a very important part of this job description and non-negotiable and repeated occurrence will lead to the disqualification of candidate as a company employee and Management reserves all the rights in making this decision .
f. Candidate should give priority to completion of work in given time, as the time commitment is very essential and important part of this job, if the work is not getting completed in given time as suggested by the candidate, he/ she may have to wait in office for additional hours to fulfill their time commitment, as time is the essence of this job contract.
4. Keep all the files & document properly, weekly check on the files, cabinets and company assets assigned to the candidate and submit its report.
5. Keep desk and computer all the accessories (Pen, notepad, Calculator etc.) neat & clean
6. Keeping desk area and office area neat and tidy all the time.
7. Keeping all the files in designated place in safe and secure manner, masking the torn pages, papers and
8. Travelling and visiting to various offices/ Departments, Sites and locations for follow ups & documentation purpose for ongoing projects, whenever required.
9. Any other work as may be required to do in office related to ongoing projects.
10. It is observed that, people generally accept the job offer just to get into the job, agreeing to all the job description and giving assurance that they have knowledge/ they can handle all the details mentioned in the Job Description and in couple of weeks they leave without giving notice, as they could not fulfill the Job requirements. For this reason, we have decided that the person has to sign an annual contract with the company before joining. Also, the candidate has to keep 10% of his salary deposited with the company each month up to 10 months OR keep their Original passing certificate of their highest qualification in the company’s custody.
11. Immediately file the documents, Drawings, Remarks, and Notes etc. in safe keep.
12. 3 month probation period ( it can be reduced to one month on mutual discussion )
13. Job contract shall be renewed every year.
14. Office reporting time morning 9:00 to evening 6:30
15. Lunch break 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM
16. Additional recognition every quarter for timely delivering all the works correctly and in time, for being a supportive and active team player.
17. Lates showing up in office not allowed, No Mawa/ Gutkha/ Tobacco during office hours, company reserves the right to immediately remove such candidates who show casual approach towards work.
18. Employee should give an undertaking to follow all the company policies diligently.
19. Weekly off on Sundays.
20. Should come to office in neat, clean, tidy and presentable attire.
21. No mobile, Pen drive, hard drive, any other digital/ storage device etc. allowed in the office.
22. Actively take part in various roles and responsibilities and receive recognition.
23. Car driving will be an added skill and will be given preference accordingly.
If the candidate wants to learn and upgrade new skills, willing to grow in his/ her personal and professional domain, we will extend all possible support to them. Candidate should be serious about learning and acquiring new skill set.
