AR Specialist

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to manage the billing, invoicing, and collections process. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely collection of outstanding receivables and maintain strong customer relationships to support the organization’s cash flow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and issue accurate customer invoices based on sales orders and contracts.
• Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging reports.
• Follow up on outstanding invoices via phone, email, or written communication.
• Process customer payments (cheques, wire transfers, credit cards, etc.) and apply them to respective accounts.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies with clients and internal teams.
• Maintain up-to-date customer records and ensure proper documentation.
• Prepare and share regular AR reports with management.
• Work closely with the sales and customer service departments to resolve billing issues.
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to AR.
• Support audits by providing requested AR documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AR best practices.
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Familiarity with industry-specific billing processes (e.g., healthcare, retail, B2B).
• Knowledge of local and international tax regulations (if applicable).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
