15 years full time educationSummary: CISCO ISE EXPERT - The Level 2 Network Support Engineer needs to have specialization in LAN, Wi-Fi, IPAM, DHCP, and Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine). The candidate will provide operational support and troubleshooting across campus and wireless network environments, with a working understanding of access control, IP address management, and basic log analysis using Splunk. This role is part of the enterprise network operations team responsible for maintaining secure and highly available network connectivity across user environments.? Roles & Responsibilities: - Perform L2-level troubleshooting and support for LAN and Wi-Fi networks across access, distribution, and wireless layers.? - Manage and troubleshoot DHCP and IPAM (IP address management) issues.? - Support and maintain Cisco ISE policies for network access control, posture checks, and profiling.? - Respond to and resolve incidents escalated from L1.5, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.? - Coordinate with L3 engineering team for complex issues or change implementations.? - Use basic Splunk capabilities for log review and incident correlation related to network events.? - Support configuration changes related to VLANs, SSIDs, ACLs, and authentication policies under guidance.? - Maintain accurate records of incidents, changes, and known issues in the ITSM system.? - Ensure adherence to network security policies and operational procedures. Professional & Technical Skills: - 3–9 years of experience in enterprise network support roles.? - Strong hands-on experience with:? LAN and wireless networking (Cisco access points, controllers)? DHCP, DNS, and IPAM systems? Cisco ISE administration and policy troubleshooting? - Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.? - Basic experience with Splunk for event analysis and troubleshooting.? - Good understanding of access control mechanisms and network authentication. Additional Information: - Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills? - Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset? - Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with 24x7 operations? - Strong documentation and presentation skills? - Process-driven approach with attention to compliance and governance - Certification - Cisco CCNP Enterprise (ENARSI) or CCNP Security, 15 years full time education
