Summary:LAN, Wi-Fi, IPAM, DHCP EXPERT REQUIRED - The Level 3 Network Engineer will have deep expertise in LAN, Routing, Wi-Fi, DHCP, IPAM, and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE). This role requires advanced troubleshooting skills, solution design capabilities, and the ability to lead and support enterprise network operations. The ideal candidate will hold a Cisco CCIE Enterprise Wireless or CCIE Security certification and possess working knowledge of Splunk for network log analysis.
The role focuses on providing escalation support, leading complex change implementations, and ensuring network service quality in a large-scale, multi-site environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:Act as an L3 escalation point for complex issues across LAN, routing, Wi-Fi, DHCP, IPAM, and Cisco ISE. Responsible for managing action plans and future requests, including automation initiatives. Troubleshoot advanced LAN and routing solutions in campus and branch environments. Lead issue resolution involving wireless networks, including controller configurations, SSIDs, and client access problems. Manage and fine-tune IPAM and DHCP configurations, ensuring high availability and proper IP allocations. Maintain and troubleshoot Cisco ISE policies related to authentication, profiling, and posture assessment. Use Splunk to correlate network events, analyze logs, and support root cause analysis. Collaborate with architecture, security, and operations teams on network projects and upgrades. Provide guidance and technical leadership to L1.5/L2 support teams. Document solutions, create and maintain SOPs, and contribute to knowledge base development.
Professional & Technical Skills:5–12 years of experience in enterprise network operations and engineering roles. Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with:? LAN switching, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), Wireless technologies (Cisco WLC, APs)? IPAM, DHCP, DNS services, Cisco ISE administration and troubleshooting?Experience designing and implementing secure access control frameworks. Good understanding of enterprise security standards and network segmentation. Basic working knowledge of Splunk, ThousandEyes for log analysis and alerting. Familiarity with ITSM and change management processes in enterprise environments.
