.We are seeking a highly skilled Application Specialist to support biopharmaceutical customers across the lifecycle of their workflows. In this role, you will leverage deep expertise in bioprocessing to provide technical guidance, support sales teams, and influence product positioning. You will collaborate closely with R&D, marketing, and product management to drive continuous improvement, ensure customer success, and deliver measurable impact. This role blends strategic foresight with hands-on application support, requiring both strong technical knowledge and excellent interpersonal skills. You will also monitor industry trends, engage with key accounts, and ensure technical excellence in customer interactions.
- Accountabilities:
- Lead technical engagements and provide application support across biopharmaceutical workflows.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to position products effectively within customer processes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key biopharma accounts.
- Track, analyze, and report on technical engagement metrics and customer feedback.
- Partner with Marketing, Product Management, and R&D to support development of applications data and product innovations.
- Monitor competitive landscape and identify opportunities for product and service improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends by attending conferences, trade shows, and reviewing scientific literature.
- Provide guidance to sales teams on technical matters and support customer engagement activities.
- Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in the biopharma or life sciences industry, with deep understanding of bioprocess workflows.
- Experience in technical roles supporting external customers in biotech, biologics, or biopharmaceutical settings.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to balance strategic and tactical responsibilities and support cross-functional teams effectively.
- Knowledge of biopharmaceutical equipment, processes, and workflow solutions is a strong advantage.
