We want a builder: someone who sees finance not just as reporting numbers, but as shaping business strategy.Youll work directly with leadership, solve complex capital problems, and help scale Apollo into one of Indias most ambitious fintech-focused NBFCs.If you want to own the finance function, thrive in high-growth environments, and think like a CFO from day one, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Be Apollos finance frontface: Lead discussions with fintech/NBFC partners, evaluate partner unit economics, conduct financial due diligence, own commercials, deal structures, and negotiations, and make strategic calls on onboarding and exposure sizing.
- Financial execution & portfolio management: Ensure financial covenants and fund flows are executed seamlessly.
- Continuously track partner portfolio health (unit economics, cost of capital alignment, NPAs/PAR/FLDG) and recommend whether to increase, decrease, or maintain capital exposure.
- Finance operations: Own reconciliations, settlements, and partner-level cash cycles end-to-end with zero leakages.
- Debt raise & capital strategy: Optimize Apollos cost of capital and XIRR, structure borrowings prudently, and oversee lender reporting.
- Strategic finance: Design financial models, ROI analyses, and investor-ready insights that guide Apollos growth and capital allocation.
- Regulatory compliance: Oversee RBI/SEBI filings, audits, taxation, and reporting rigorously.
- Automation-first mindset: Partner with tech/product teams to automate MIS, reconciliations, and investor dashboards.
- Leadership impact: Serve as the finance nerve center for leadership and board-level decisions.
Eligibility Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) - mandatory.
- Strong fundamentals in financial operations, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Solid understanding of NBFC frameworks, regulatory norms, and portfolio health metrics.
- Hands-on with Excel and Tally.
- Ownership mindset - you make things happen without being Experience in a digital lending startup or fintech.
- Exposure to FLDG, co-lending, or warehousing structures.
- Comfort with automation tools, BI dashboards, and financial modeling.
- Familiarity with fundraising, investor reporting, or treasury ops.
- Good understanding of ECL workings and LMS integrations.
