API Developer

Role: API Tester (White Box)
Experience :2-3 Years
Location : Indore ( Remote)

Key Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python and scripting languages such as JavaScript for creating and automating test scripts.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs — including request/response structure, methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE), and status codes.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and knowledge of deploying or testing APIs in a cloud environment.
• Ability to write comprehensive test plans, detailed test cases, and execute API validation with accuracy.
• Proficient in handling and validating JSON payloads, including nested structures and complex data models.
• Understanding of LLM-based APIs (Large Language Model integrations like OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) — experience testing prompt/response consistency and latency preferred.
• Familiarity with Postman, Swagger, or similar API testing tools.
• Good knowledge of automation frameworks (like PyTest or unittest) for white-box and integration testing.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar) for automated test execution.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills to identify, reproduce, and document issues effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear reporting and collaboration with development teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated and manual tests for RESTful APIs.
• Perform white-box testing by understanding internal API logic, backend data flow, and code-level validations.
• Validate API responses for multiple payloads, including error handling and edge cases.
• Conduct low-level load testing to simulate concurrent or batch API calls and measure performance under stress.
• Collaborate with developers to identify bugs, optimize performance, and improve overall API reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving test coverage and best practices.
• Maintain and enhance test automation scripts, ensuring they are scalable and reusable.
• Monitor API integrations and report discrepancies in response data, performance, or latency.
• Support deployment testing during releases and ensure API stability post-deployment.
• Document all testing processes, results, and recommendations clearly and systematically.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
